Laura Mercier Translucent Powder | Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finish | Watts Up Highlighter | Becca Champagne Pop Highlighting Powder

I cannot finish any makeup look without a finishing powder, and a highlight. Today I wanted to share with you guys two of each of my favorite finishing powder and highlighter products that I use all the time. I am always on the hunt for new products and I love try everything. So far these have been my go-to’s for quite some time.

After I apply my primer and foundation, I always always set my face with a finishing powder. Laura Mercier’s translucent powder is widely know about and a fabulous product. I recently discovered Charlotte Tilbury’s Flawless Finish pressed powder, and have been using it religiously. I cannot express how incredible this stuff is! If you have pores that you like to smooth over, this flawless finish seriously finishes your look with a flawless smoothness. I love both finishing powders, but each of them for different reasons.

The Laura Mercier powder I use under my eyes and when I need an all day full coverage application. I also like to use it to bake on my concealer for days when I know I will be in photos. Charlotte Tilbury’s pressed powder is great for everyday looks, and for a smooth finish when pores are out of control. This is stuff goes with me everywhere and I use it throughout the day when I feel like my ski could use a pick me up.

A good highlight makes any look that much more glowing!

I love, love, love highlighters! Highlighters have been HOT this summer and have and will continue to be all throughout the following seasons. I have been a die hard about the Becca Champagne Pop pressed highlighter powder. It give such a pretty warm glow, and the color is just a golden perfection. I think it looks good on any skin tone. I also have been using the Watts Up highlighter on the go or as a base under Champagne Pop. It is more of a matted highlight and really pretty for fall and winter. I use a tapered makeup brush to blend in the highlight and add a little to my nose and cupids bow.
