My Spring Beauty Must-Haves

My Spring Beauty Must-Haves

Can we all agree that makeup has been bigger then ever before this generation??! Is it just me or was makeup just NOT as big 10 years ago as it is now? I mean 9 year old girls already know how to do a full on contoured face these days, and believe me you….I definitely didn’t even know how to properly put on eye shadow at that age.

Maybe I am behind the times, but even today I am really just starting to get really good at makeup. I actually enjoy playing around with different products and taking a full hour to do a fun date night look; If you told me this 3 years ago and I would not have believed you.

There is just SO MUCH makeup going on out there lately, and the trends are all over Instagram it’s hard to miss! So, I may have been stocking up on all my favorites over the last few weeks, what with the VIB Sephora sale and all? How could a girl not? Right?

My Spring Favs…

Laura Mercier – Translucent Setting Powder

A friend of mine actually referred me to this precious gem. As the name suggests it is a translucent powder and it is so matifying over foundation, it has a super soft silky, light-weight feel and I just cannot go without it!

MILK – Blur Stick

MILK has been quickly becoming very popular in my circle of friend and all over social media lately, and suffice to say I have jumped on that band wagon…The Blur Stick is unbelievable! Pores-be-gone! It is my go to primer these days, and it is so cute and portable I have it my handbag at all times.

Hoola – Quicky Contour Stick

OK. So if your not a total professional when it come to trying to contour this is the trick stick for you. (Hee Hee see what I did there!) This thing has been a lifesaver for me, I just swipe it onto the places I want to contour, dab it in with my beauty blender and BAM! Contour! So easy, it a major must and goes with me everywhere!

BECCA – Champagne Pop Highlighter

This is SO beautiful! If you are looking for a new highlighter I highly recommend the Becca highlighters. I also have Moonstone, but I really like Champagne Pop for a summery glow!

NARS – Radiant Creamy Concealer

It took me a lot of trial and error to find a concealer that I really liked. Most concealers I have used in the past look cakey under my eyes and just increase the depth and appearance of any creases, YUCK. This NARS creamy concealer is so smooth and goes on easy + plus I love the lighter shades because I really like a bright eye!

Tarte – Rainforest of the Sea Shadow Palette

I am big with eye shadow, and I am big with a bronzey look. I love my Naked palettes but I have been looking for another palette with some new shades. This Tarte Rainforest of the Sea palette has proven to be a wonderful investment! So Pretty!

Beauty Blender (Duh..)

This is kind of no-brainer, but I know some gals like to use brushes for everything. I definitely love a good brush for my makeup but when it comes down to it my beauty blender is my ride-or-die for makeup application and blending.
