I can’t believe Christmas is only two weeks away!
I have been stocking up on holiday treats like crazy this week so far! Every year when I was a little girl my grandma Dorothy would always mail out a shoe box packed full of delicious holiday treats. I mean there would be homemade caramel, fudge, peanut butter blossoms, Irish tea cakes (My fav!), peanut butter brittle…you name it! It was always so special because my dad would keep the box of goodies in the freezer and every night he would pull it out after dinner and let each of us kids pick one treat out. I miss that! I suppose that is where my urge for having a bunch of yummy holiday treats around come from!
Anyhoo, I know there are a lot of holiday parties, and family get-togethers happening in these upcoming days and weeks. So I wanted to share one of my favorite holiday looks this season. I got these red booties a couple months ago already with the holidays in mind, and love wearing them. Red is my favorite for the holidays, and I love how bright and fun these booties are! I paired them with this all black outfit, aren’t the sleeves on this sweater just everything?
Black has been a go-to for me lately being pregnant, and having this belly! But I love this sweater for the holidays because it is so festive! I have worn these booties out a few times for dinners this month already and I always get so many compliments on them! And they are incredibly comfortable…win! They are super cute with a LBD too! These booties also come in black and a really pretty floral print and are under $50!
