Hi Friends!

This is such an exciting post because I  have some amazing shoes to tell you about…but let me back up a bit…

The last couple months have truly been hard on me, and my feet have suffered from it all. Not only was I wearing tennis shoes that were too small for me and giving my ingrown toenails (ew!), but I was just plain sore from all the changes my body is going through…(See my Instagram Stories today for more on this!)

Growing up I learned a lot about feet. Haha what a way to start…but it is true! My Dad’s uncle is John Schuler, owner of Schuler Shoe’s in Minnesota. There are now a total of 9 stores scattered all over the Minneapolis area, and for a very long time many of my family members worked in one of them. This included my Dad and for a few years myself as well. SAS Shoes was a brand that we sold at Schuler Shoes, and they also owned a store specific to SAS Shoes in a little strip mall in Albertville, MN for a few years. My Dad and my uncle Gary ran and worked that store and my first job ever was working there with them and helping sell SAS Shoes.

Over those few years I learned a lot about feet, but also a lot about what quality meant in a shoe. There are so many problems that people deal with when it comes to their feet. And as annoying as it may be, if your feet hurt, your entire body hurts too. Many people do not realize that the shoes they wear are the reason for many of these ailments such as Athlete’s foot, Bunions, Corns, Hammer Toe, Ingrown nails (Seriously…ouch!), Collapsed arches (Plantar Fasciitis), Joint pain, Metatarsalgia, Hip pain, back pain, Knee pain and poor posture!

As a style and fashion blogger, look matters to me.

And let me tell you, I am guilty of wearing uncomfortable shoes just to look good! I am also a victim of many of the above mentioned ailments…and I am not a fan of them one bit! But what if I told you you could have style AND comfort ALL the time? Well guess what? You can! And I am not being salesy or trying to turn you onto something I do not really believe in. I truly 100% stand by SAS Shoes.

SAS stands for San Antonio Shoemakers, started by two men in San Antonio, Texas in 1976. From day one until today they have been a family owned American company that makes only quality, comfort, and stylish shoes. SAS Shoes was one of the top selling brands at my family’s shoe store’s for exactly those reasons, and today there are tons of different styles to fit everyone’s needs. I was sent two pair of SAS sandals that I picked out from a wide selection. And I will be frank, it was hard to choose. When they arrived I was elated with the quality and comfort I knew I could expect.

Truly, I love these sandals SO much, and as a busy mom always running out the door, these have been my favorite go-to slide ons!

I have styled them so many ways, and I love that they can be dressed up or down, and literally work with any outfit! I wanted bright colors for spring and summer, and I get so many compliments whenever I wear them! One lady the other day actually said, “Where did you get those? They are exactly what I have been looking for!” when I was wearing the passion pink ‘Shelly’ Sandals.

I also want to mention that SAS Shoes makes incredible walking shoes. They are ideal for being on your feet all day long. That same comfort is consistent in all of their shoes, but if you yourself are a Nurse or a Waitress or maybe you are going on a trip, or you know someone that is; these are the shoes you need. You can check out their selection of walking shoes for women here and men here.

I love the blue sandals better than the pink but I think both would be great for this summer! They’re fun prints!

These shoes sound amazing! As a new mom constantly on the go I’ve been looking for a sandal that has good support and is meant for walking. I’ll definitely check these out!
