Update: Everyday Makeup Favorites

I can’t believe Aria is 7 weeks old already! Life adjusting to being a new mom has been so amazing! I will be honest and say that it is certainly hard to get the things around the house done as much as I used to. Not to mention work! I feel like I never get anything done hardly! But I really wouldn’t have it any other way. This little girl is my world and she truly makes my life better each and every day. Ok, OK! Enough “proud parenting” jeesh…

I wanted to update you guys with my latest daily makeup favorites.

These days I am lucky if I am totally ready for the day by 3pm in the afternoon tee-hee, but these makeup staples have been lifesavers in keeping me looking presentable! Also I received these makeup brushes a few weeks back and I have been using them everyday to test them out. For my foundation I have been using the largest brush or the “powder brush” because I like a large condensed brush to get an even cover on my skin.

Each brush is labeled for it’s use which I think is awesome because let’s be honest here, I am no makeup professional and I truly just use what I feel like using! I never know what brush is meant for what purpose. With this brush set I do! Love that! The handle on the brushes are a little thin for me. Maybe I am too rough when applying makeup and I use too much pressure but I am afraid the handle will break on me! Although this hasn’t happened yet, and so far I am learning to be more gentle as well. Overall the quality exceeds the cost  and I would recommend My Makeup Brushes to anyone needing a new set!

Daily Makeup Favorites

Dior Air Flash Spray Foundation

I have been using this for the past month, and I am hooked! I actually went into Sephora looking for the new Fenty foundation a month ago and it was of course all sold out. So, I ended up giving this a try instead and I am so happy I did! I usually spray directly onto my brush and just swipe it on. The coverage is literally perfect! I use it alone for an everyday look, and with concealer for more of a full coverage on date nights.

Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finish Micro-Powder

Lately this has replaced my Laura Mercier Translucent Powder! Wouldn’t say it is better, I would just say it is smoother and great for a cleaner look. I have been really into the way it leaves my skin glow-y and smooth! I have almost used it up and will definitely be buying again.

Tom Ford Ultimate Bronzer

I have talked about this before and have been using it since fall. I LOVE this bronzer! Hands down the best bronzer I have ever tried. Worth the splurge 100%. I use it pretty much all over my face and down my neck, but it works great for a quick and natural everyday contour as well!

Dior Air Luminizer Powder

This is new from Dior and I just picked it up from Nordstrom a little over a week ago. I use it as a highlighter and really like the cool shimmer it leaves on my cheek bones. It is perfect for a pretty yet subtle glow.

Anastasia Brow Wiz Eyebrow Pencil

Because I am so blonde, even my eyebrows, I fill in my brows everyday. I do not like to even sit around the house without them filled in! I love this brow pencil because it is so easy to use, and I can fill in my brows in seconds!

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick “Nude in Private”

I love a perfect nude lip! YSL has sold me on wearing lipstick again. I have mentioned before I was never a lipstick kind of girl until I tried this brand. Feels like butter going on and the colors in the entire line are perfect.

I’ll have to try these products! I’ll be honest, I need a training course in those types of brushes. They are so intimidating to me!
