Happy Friday!
So this post is going up a day late because…well..#mommystruggles!! I had every intention of getting this up yesterday, but the day went Aria’s way not mine! That’s ok, I love her so much and seriously every moment with her is top priority! It is however amazing to get a bunch of things done while she naps! Even though I savor every free second to go into turbo-mode and get as much done around the house as possible, I still need to be keeping an eye on her constantly!!
Suffice to say this baby monitor has been a dream! Now I can do a happy dance that both the dishes AND the laundry are done every day! Teehee, but seriously having a baby monitor where you can just hear your baby wasn’t enough. I needed to be able to see her. Not to get too heavy but if for any reason she was to get into a position where her face was covered and I couldn’t see and be able to run to her and uncover it, god-forbid she would suffocate! SO!
To save myself the stress and worry, and to be able to do things around the house instead of sitting next to Aria’s crib watching her sleep; this monitor is the bomb-digg!
Infant Optics baby monitor is top notch in that is features an interchangeable lens! Um…technology these days amiright? I love how I can have it in one central location in her room and be able to move the camera view from one side of the room to the other! Aria often needs to first fall asleep in her swing lately (next to her crib) so when I transfer her back and forth from crib to swing, all I have to do is adjust the lens on the remote! I can do it from downstairs – legit cool! It also shows the room temperature, and has two way talk if needed. LOVE that feature because I can call on the hubby sitting downstairs while I am up in the nursery and need an extra hand!
There are a bunch of other features too, those are just a few of my favorites! We own the DXR-8 and the DXR-5 has video playback and more! Convinced? In case you needed one more thing to get your attention this baby monitor is SAFE, and what I mean by that is there is no radio frequency used, it is all camera. So the neighbors can’t hear your sweet little one cry or you baby talking to him/her.
Um…sold.
Anyhoo, in case your wondering about these adorable lounge pants, I got them from PinkBlush and have been living in them when I am at home. If you aren’r familiar with PinkBlush it is a fantastic clothing shop for maternity and women’s clothing. They have the prettiest styles including these floral lounge pants. They are comfy and easy to throw on. They are also light-weight and therefore not too warm for springs temps, but also pretty and don’t totally look like pajamas! That feels like a win to me when I am at home so much! Let’s be honest! Where are my stay-at-home-moms at? They would make for perfect cute and comfy pants at the hospital after birth too!

I love the monitor already! Especially the no radio frequency car that usually gets me worried. I also love that it can be moved around instead of having to physically go there and mobile it. My current one moved but not much so I have to physically do that. The video playback feature sounds awesome too!!! I need this!!
