Hi You Guys!

I am currently visiting my family in MN, and I am so excited to celebrate the 4th of July here this year! It has been such a fun trip so far, and even more exciting because it has been Aria’s first trip out of Nevada. Minnesota gets hot and muggy, and super humid which is very different from the dry heat in Las Vegas. I packed a bunch of my favorite beauty products with me, and I am so glad I didn’t forget my setting spray because otherwise my makeup would be melting off!

There are so many amazing beauty products out this year, and some that I am still scratching my head at… It has been a month full of beauty shopping sprees so I am excited to share what I have found with you all!

Starting with skin care,

This has been my latest obsession. Neutrogena Hydro Boost gel-cream is SO refreshing and hydrating! It feels like silk on your skin, and because it has hyaluronic acid in it, it helps tame redness and adds extra hydration to your skin plumping and smoothing it! Plus, it smells amazing! I have also noticed how light it is on the skin, it feels cool and doesn’t get greasy or heavy in the heat.

I have been trying SO many foundations lately!

It is a little ridiculous. But it is only because I really want to find my ultimate favorite. I will be honest with you and tell you the best one I have tried to-date is the Dior Airflash Spray Foundation. I used mine up a while ago and ever since then I have been dreaming about it. However for a great matte, oil free foundation this Clinique is a close second favorite and all I have been using lately. The oil free is a must in the summer heat, and it has been the perfect coverage! Looks even better with a good setting powder too!

So you all know how much I love my Urban Decay Setting Spray, so when I saw this was out I bought it right away without even thinking. This is the powder version of the spray and just as amazing! Definitely a must have! The formula is perfect and the texture is like silk on your skin. It leaves your makeup looking flawless, and works well with the Clinique foundation above! P.S. This lasts all day and all night as advertised! Love it!

It is no secret that the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer is amazing.

They just came out with this Creaseless Concealer and I am so glad I gave it a try! It is the Tarte Shape Tape only better, and with a good setting powder will not crease on you. I love how easy it is to apply, and will recommend this to anyone looking for a good under eye concealer. You know I am kind of an under eye concealer addict, so I know what good one looks like!

I love how innovative IGK is.

And being blonde I knew that these leave in toning drops would be so nice to have. Especially if you swim in a pool a lot, or your blonde hair tends to get brassy easily like mine, these toning drops work like a purple shampoo that you leave in all day long. Keeping your hair cool, and blonde and beautiful! So far I love it!

With that being said…

This IGK product I have a different opinion about. First of all, when I was browsing Sephora a couple weeks ago with my girlfriend I spotted this new IGK can and was immediately intrigued. The IGK No More Blow is a product that advertises that it cuts the time it takes to air dry your hair in half. Because heat tools used to dry your hair can cause lasting damage to your hair, they say this is a safer way to get your hair dry, by simply spraying it in and letting air dry in half the time. HOWEVER if you read the ingredients the first two listed are Butane and Propane! You are basically spraying gasoline into your hair! Eeek! The product clearly says that you cannot use a hairdryer for 1 hour after applying the spray, and of course you wouldn’t want to do that because you could actually set your hair on fire! Also due to the ingredients the product has to be shipped ground because it is considered hazardous! Maybe this stuff does work…but I would rather use a hair dryer then put hazardous toxins in my hair!
