Bumpdate Time…
Well, I figured it was time to bring you all up to speed on my little bun in the oven, and decided I can do a little Bumpdate every week to show you my progress! Above see everything up until now…I think it is so funny I thought I actually had a bump at 12 weeks LOL!
I am now 24 weeks along and up to this point my pregnancy has certainly had major ups and downs. The second trimester has been far better then the 1st trimester, though, and my belly grows a little more everyday just like our baby girl!
This week her activity level has gone up quite a bit and she is dancing, kicking, and punching almost constantly! It is so fun to feel her moving, and even though sometimes she gives me a kick good enough to make me gasp, I love knowing she is in there growing stronger all the time.
My symptoms have been pretty constant for the last couple weeks; heart burn, back aches, sore feet and legs, and trouble sleeping. Naps also happen more often which is SO not me, I am so tired again lately! I had so much energy this whole trimester up until now. It is funny how quickly I can feel completely wiped out.
Restless legs!!!
I have been continuing to get in some exercise everyday if I can, and try to do 20-30 minutes on the elliptical. This has been great in helping me sleep better at night, and also with my lower back aches and restless legs. Any other women experience restless legs while pregnant? I feel a little alone on this one, I don’t know why this happens! I notice stretching my legs out before bed seems to help a little.
Anywho…that’s the Bumpdate I have for you this week! It is so much fun experiencing the growing little life inside me. I love her so much already!
