As much as it is hard for me to let go of my first child and let her go off to school, I know Aria will grow and change so much this year! I can already imagine all the new memories she will make, all the new things she will learn, and all the new friends she will make. I had the idea to make a time capsule with Aria to record her favorite things now, and have it ready for her to review at the end of the year to see how much she has grown and changed! She loved making this with me and loved answering the questions I had ready for her even more, so I thought I would share for anyone who may want to do the same with their little ones this year!

The time capsule we crafted is shaped and decorated like a pencil and turned out so cute! It was super easy to make too! I used a paper mache cylinder gift box I found at Hobby Lobby and everything else I had at home! For a break down of the instructions and materials used check out this post on Plum NYC’s Blog ‘No Frill Just Chill‘!
