This is the third year in a row that I am gifting the girls a Boo Basket for halloween. Aria is 3 so I guess that means I have been doing it from the beginning. But before kids I had never heard of a Boo Basket before. A boo basket is a bunch of halloween goodies you assemble into a fun basket to give to your kids the first day of October. This way they have the whole month to enjoy all their halloween themed gifts! Things I usually include are halloween pajamas, halloween tees or an outfit, fun sippy cups or straws, a stuffed animal, stickers or temporary halloween tattoos, halloween bows, and some treats!
The above photo shows what I got the girls this year. I purchased the black planter basket stands that I can reuse in my home after I gift these to the girls. I like to use baskets that can double as functional later on! Below I am listing what I put in their baskets, I was able to find links for almost everything!

I like to mention here that you should never feel like you need to go all out for your kids for holidays just to measure up. Many of the items I get for my girls are gifted to me or are simply from the dollar spot at Target! You can make it all just as special by spending now money at all and just spending special time with your kids! Do a flashlight hide and seek family game night, or watch a movie outside with blankets and popcorn!
