Holiday Decor Around The Home

Holiday Decor Around The Home

Happy Cyber Monday! I am happy to be hitting publish today because above and beyond any other holiday themed post requested by you all this year, it was home decor! So here you have it: Holiday Decor Around The Home! Grab a cup of coffee and snuggle in, this one is long!

I have been decorating the house for the holidays for several weeks now, all in anticipation of this post, and so I could be done to enjoy it all being done before this baby is born. I know some people think it is a little funny when I am pulling in the holiday decor on November 1st, but as a blogger it is my job to get ideas for the holidays to you before you start doing it yourself! Also there are holiday themed campaigns that I had deadlines for and other priorities that made decorating early necessary. As far as I am concerned Christmas is nearly here!

Tomorrow is Cyber Monday and tons of home decor will be on sale which is another reason I wanted to get this up for you all! You can check out all the Cyber Week sales I am covering here! I am blown away by some of these prices and I know a lot of it will not last so grab what you like! I broke up the decor around our home into 5 areas for you today! Each section will share details on the items shown and where I got them if I am able to link them and if I am not! I do often shop at Home Goods, so some of the items I either found a similar option for you or simply told you where I found it! If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment below or message me directly!

Master Bedroom

OK. Our master bedroom is very simple. Honestly it is probably the most neglected room in our home as far as decoration goes, and that is simply because aside from sleeping, we do not spend much time in our bedroom at all. Some people like to retreat to the bedroom for evening TV and cozies, but we usually stay in the living room until we are ready to fall asleep. Suffice to say I kept the holiday decor in our master pretty simple as well.

Earlier this year I invested in some new bedding, and we LOVE the sheets and down comforter so much! Both on sale for Cyber Monday! I went all white for an easy and airy look. The light pink pillows are solely for decoration, but I love them and how easy they are to pair with any holiday decor. The furry white pillows come as a pair and add a little bit of texture, and the red Jingle pillow is from Micheals!

Both the owl stuffed animal and red tree berry cone decor are from a few years ago, but I was able to find a very similar owl for you! I have a thing for owls and tend to be drawn to them! Can’t help it! Both throw blankets are from Target and so soft and cozy! We actually use them as throw blankets on our couch for the evenings a lot. I tend to buy a few throw blankets each holiday season, I feel like you can never have enough!

Finally, how cute are these Santa slippers?! I have WAY too many slippers right now, but couldn’t help myself when I saw these. So cute and fun for Christmas and the tips of the Santa hats even have bells on them so they jingle lightly when you walk! You can also buy these in kid sizes!

Home Office

My home office is a place where I can 100% decorate it as girly as I want. Therefore the theme here is very sparkly and pink! I will be clear that many of the items in my office are actually from the Target dollar spot and therefore I cannot link, BUT I will tell you if you are looking to do something similar; GO CHECK OUT your local Target dollar spot! It has gotten SO GOOD and there is always so many cute things to keep your decorations cute and affordable!

My favorite thing of all in my office is my little flocked tree. You can get them at Target extremely affordably and they are so pretty and chic adding the perfect pretty accent to any home holiday decor. They come in 3 sizes, I have a medium on my desk, and they are $3, $5, and $10 respectively. I love them for a simple farmhouse style all by themselves, or you can add lights and little ornaments like I did to give them a little something extra. I used these twinkle lights because they are a little bit higher quality. They come in a longer strand, have 8 twinkle options, and have a battery pack so they will last for a very long time! The ornaments I have are little pink glitter pine cones, I found them for you in silver and gold, but the pink seem to be sold out! I will keep checking, though, as I am sure they will be restocked.

This little glitter reindeer is SO CUTE and comes in several colors including pink and white! I actually got mine last year and so glad they came back again this year! The Fa la la la sign is from the dollar spot but in case you are wanting something you can get right at home, I found this one you can print and frame yourself!

Finally my day planner is the life line of my blog and my favorite thing in my office all together even though it is not holiday decor. For Cyber Monday you can get my planner and any of the accessories for 30% OFF! They make for amazing gifts!

I have this navy tufted bench in my office and love it for it touch of luxury it adds to my room, and also because the seat opens for extra storage. It is really such a beautiful piece of furniture, exactly what I was looking for, and I looked everywhere for it!! Way on sale tomorrow!

I decorated this little bench with one of my favorite pom pom throw blankets (from last year but here is a similar one), my cute little ‘Let’s Mistletoe’ throw pillow (also from last year), and snowman plush decor. The snowman is from Home Goods last year, but if you swing by there this year there are tons of similar options! I also have my cozy cute reindeer slippers sitting in my office for those long days, and love how simple and adorable they are! You all have been loving these on my Instagram and FYI they come in 3 other colors!

This shelf is another piece of furniture I desperately wanted in my office and absolutely love. It has that elegance that brings the perfect amount of femininity to the room, and is the perfect size for a medium sized room. I have simple decor on the shelf and added a few holiday decor pieces to spice it up for the season. The pink bottle brush tree is from the Target dollar spot, the light pink sequenced cone trees are from Micheals! The little sign that says ‘There’s No Place Like Home For The Holidays’ is another Target dollar spot find!

I have linked additional pieces shown in the photos above for those interested!

Hot Cocoa Bar & Around the Main Living Area

All these little accents are pieces I have put together over the last few weeks and had so much fun doing it! Most of the items are from either Target dollar spot, Micheals, or home goods but I am linking the items I can below. The hot cocoa bar is an idea I got right away, and is actually the first place I decorated for the holidays. You all know how much I love my Keurig, and ever since I got it I haven’t stopped using it! I am a die hard Keurig fan for life now!

The cute sign, Santa cookie jar, tin bucket, and other decor are all from Micheal’s. One of my favorite places to shop for the holiday’s but unfortunately a lot is unlink-able! I would have to just recommend taking a trip there yourself!

The glass bottom tray on the counter is ALL from Target dollar spot! I love the little holiday knick-knacks they have there and simply put this little set up together on a whim one day.

The tiered centerpiece is a mashup of a bunch of little pieces I picked up from Micheals one day. The tiered tray itself is here and I highly recommend getting one if you do not have one already! They are so amazing to have to decorate year round by simply switching out the decorations for the season!

Candy Cane Christmas Tree

In our main living area we do a smaller tree and this year I went with a red and white theme. The tree is faux and pre-lit but we really like it for how easy it is to set up and for its warm festive glow! This tree is 8ft and very realistic! I am calling it our candy cane Christmas Tree! The red and white striped ribbon can be found here, and similar ornaments here. I also added a few really cute Wondershop woodland animals from Target to give the tree a little something extra. I did a really simple and easy design for the tree but I love how it turned out! Fun and different! I am linking some similar sprigs like I used at the top of the tree and our Santa tree skirt down below!

Formal Living Area

Last but certainly not least is our formal living area! In here we have our big 10 ft faux tree and this one is flocked. I LOVE this tree so much! It truly is a beautiful tree! It does not come pre-lit and we chose that simply for the reason that we knew we would want this tree for a very long time and wanted to option to add different lights as the years went on. For example this year we added cool white lights and I love the look it gives the tree and how it lights up the flocking!

Last year I decorated this tree with multi-color ribbon and ornaments and it was really pretty, but this year I wanted something different so I went with a red and black gingham and added burlap and gold. It matches our Christmas cards and brings the red theme throughout the entire house instead of clashing with the red and white in the main living area.

For the tree I used 3 different ribbons that I got from Michael’s the are each here, here, and here. I love the combination and think they go together really well for the look I was trying to get. The ornaments are mainly from Hobby Lobby so I cannot link them, but there are few bird woodland creatures from Target that I used as well. The big twig snowflake ornament is also from Hobby Lobby and it is our statement piece on the tree! The sprigs at the top of the tree are linked below. Some are old from last year. Also the giant pinecones are actually from Trader Joe’s!

The fireplace is decorated with a glitter and pinecone garland I got last year, here is a similar one. The stockings are from Target. I got the white fur stockings last year and they brought them back again. I got the other letter stockings this year one for Aria and one for our new baby girl which we are naming Ella. Truly, I love how they match the tree, so cute! I linked the stocking holders, red sequenced pillow and other pillows, twinkle lights, blankets, and tree skirt below!

Finally to the right of the tree I put a large poinsettia that I picked up from Costco, and then there is my tried and true bar cart which I decorated with a few holiday figures and placed a holiday themed sign in front of. This is an investment I made years ago and one of the best I have made in my life! I use my bar cart year round and for every season and absolutely love it! I cannot find the exact one for you all, but I am linking a similar one here that I love! Again very simple details, but I love how it all turned out!

If there is anything I missed that you need a link for or would love to know more about please reach out!
