Happy December! I hope you are all having a beautiful start to the holiday season, who is ready for Christmas? I can not believe how quickly the time has gone, in just 11 days (or less) we will be a family of 4 and before we all know it, it will be 2019! Time sure flies!
Anyhoo, today I am sharing a favorite winter holiday look with you all! A Holiday Style Cute Winter Fashion with Motherhood Maternity! Having my pregnancies back to back like I have, maternity clothes have definitely become the center of my wardrobe. And with almost two straight years of styling a bump, I have gotten very familiar with what the good brands and styles for maternity wear are. I am so excited to share this look from Motherhood Maternity with you all today because it is the place where a big problem during my pregnancy ended and I am forever a committed customer because of it!
You can shop in store or online, and they have everything you could need while pregnant. The website also breaks the entire store up into sections that make it easy to shop. Some of the featured shops are Style Guide, Petite Shop, Bumpstart (for basics), Babymoon, and Hospital Bag! They even have a whole section for graphic tees! Love that!
OK. So a little back story…
I am just under 5′ 4″ and I have kind of short legs. Shopping for jeans and pants that are not too long or that ride too high has been an issue I have struggled with my entire life. You can imagine how frustrating it can be for someone like me when pregnant, to not only have trouble finding jeans that fit, but also being able to find the right maternity jeans that do not slide down or ride up!
I tried every single brand of maternity jeans I came across. I shopped at so many stores, and tried so many pairs only to fall to the floor of my closet one day in tears because none of them fit me right and had to constantly be pulled up as I walked so they wouldn’t slide down. It was not only disheartening and uncomfortable, but it made feeling bloated and fat like pregnancy tends to do, only worse and I hated feeling like I looked frumpy.
I wanted to give up completely and just wear sweatpants everyday until…
One day I was out running errands and randomly walked by a Motherhood Maternity and decided to stop in and check them out. I grabbed a few pairs of jeans because they had styles that were actually really cute and had a little bit of distress on them which I really liked. Normally maternity clothes are difficult to find with edgy and trendy style features, so when I see something like that I am instantly drawn to trying it out!
I was instantly so impressed with the Jessica Simpson Secret Fit Belly jeans, and started moving about and siting and standing in the dressing room to test them out. They went on SO easily, no tugging and pulling to feel snug. They hit my ankle at the exact right place and they didn’t budge once one! The stayed put and did not slide down when I bent over! I bought my first pair that day and since then have gone back several times to buy more in other washes. I have also started shopping there for other things like tops, sweaters, and lounge clothes!

The outfit above was sent to me by Motherhood Maternity and it is by far my favorite outfit from them so far! The jeans are my tried and true Jessica Simpson Secret Fit Belly Skinny Jeans, and the cowl neck sweater is SO STINKIN CUTE for the winter and holiday season! I love the rounded hem and the cozy cable knit material is so perfect for styling dressy or casual. The sweater itself is very bump flattering and the whole outfit makes me feel so good, but is also so comfortable! SO important during pregnancy!
I paired this look with my new favorite accessories this hat and this bag. The hat gives the whole look a holiday feel, and the bag is actually a really good Gucci dupe! I love the pop of red it adds to the outfit! P.S. I reviewed this bag on my Instagram and I am so impressed with it so far.
