Today I am 7 months pregnant and Aria has her 9 month doctors appointment! It is about to get crazy around here folks, and I am not sure how I feel about it… Some day’s I think I am ready for juggling a new born and a toddler at the same time, and other days I just want to faint thinking about it! Any veteran multiple child momma’s out there, send me your best tips!
Oversized Denim Jacket for Fall
Anyhoo, one of the best parts about this pregnancy has been finding great outfit ideas that I can be comfortable and stylish. I am not a huge fan a maternity clothes, so I prefer to find things I can simply size up in or fit into now and later. If you follow me on Instagram than you would have seen today’s post is this amazingly cool oversized denim jacket. I love that this is such a big trend right now! I have always loved how a denim jacket makes an outfit look. Being pregnant it makes this entire look, I am simple wearing black leggings and a black tank top (the best for pregnancy! HERE), but with the jacket the whole outfit looks cute and put together! So easy!
Outfit Ideas for Wardrobe Essentials
Now that I am a mom, my style has changed a little bit. BUT I still want to look cute and feel good in what I wear. I have always believed that if you get up and get yourself ready for the day, you will always be more productive then if you lounge around in PJs. Simple staple pieces mixed with some investment designer items or trendy accessories is my go-to fashion style these days, and I am really loving it.
I have always been a sucker for a cute accessory. Hats, hand bags, jewelry, sunglasses…I will go for anything like that if it jumps out at me! Really I think that a cute accessory can make any simple outfit elevated and instantly look dressed up. I can take this plain black leggings and black tank top and wear it every single day in one week but simply switch out my accessories or outer wear pieces and I have a whole new look for each day! For example: Imagine this outfit with a camel cardigan vest, brown boots, a statement chain necklace, and oversized sunnies with a top knot! CUTE!
Having several pieces I can grab to add to closet staples are key, so this denim jacket was well worth it and getting tons of wear. I love it tied around my waist too, I think it would be cute with a baseball cap and platform tennis!
OK bit of a rant there, but I really wanted to share how I make easy outfits look stylish and even when your pregnant. The last thing I want to stress about is being able to wake up in the morning and not finding anything cute to wear. If I feel cute I just have a better day! – End of rant! Have a great day!
