How cute are these little ghost cookies? The girls loved them and so did I. Easy to make and super yummy! These are 15 minute sugar cut-out cookies that will turn out perfect every single time you make them. If you have a halloween party coming up I highly recommend these!

So have you ever tried to make cute cut-out cookies only to have them spread and rise in the oven? Come out looking like one big blob? I had that problem for many years and never knew what the heck I was doing wrong. I come to learn a genius mom hack a few years back that will forever be my favorite EASY way to make the perfect cut-out sugar cookies every single time! Want to know the secret too? Ok scroll down!

Start with simple store bought pre-made sugar cookie dough. I love the pillsbury brand! Now add a half cup of flour, or 1 cup if your making a double batch. Let your little one pour in the flour if they are helping!

Use your hands to mix up the dough real good, another part your little one can help with, and then roll it out.

Use your cookie cutter to cut out your cookies and place them gently on a baking pan. I let Ella cut out all the ghost cookies and she was amazed each time, it was so cute!

After 13 minutes in the oven at 350 degrees, pull out your perfect little cookies and let them cool for a bit. I usually use this time to mix up my frosting. For this particular batch I made two shades of pink out of white frosting to make an ombre’ tray of pink ghost cookies for the girls. Add eyes and mouth with gel frosting and wahlah!

Ingredients:

Store bought sugar cookie dough, 1/2 cup of flour, frosting of choice
