This is the perfect example of how a photo shoot with this little doll goes lately! Usually one of the shots turn out at least! TeeHee! Oh Well! I really wanted to show this look because it has become my go-to summer uniform this year. This tunic top is without a doubt the best universal top I own. It can look like a completely different outfit depending on how I style it. I have it in white and black, but it comes in tons of different colors. It is long so it is great for front tucking or front tying, but also perfect for pregnancy. Here is a post I did last year in this tunic top! I wore this a ton last year when I was pregnant with Aria and loved that is fully covered my belly and made me still look dressed up when I wanted to!
The shorts are cute and comfy and very much like THIS other pair I own, but I love these because they have pockets. And any mom would know that pockets are very necessary things to have when you have kids! The color is super neutral and I love how it looks with black.
My favorite part about this whole summer uniform is that is it comfortable and easy to move around in, bending over and picking up Aria all day long and holding her makes it a lot less practical to be in restricting jeans or a cute off-the-shoulder all day. An outfit like this in way more practical but still looks put together!
Another thing I have been loving lately is this beautiful necklace from Plum Dilly.
If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen on my stories my initial reaction when I unboxed this gift she sent me last week, and how much I loved it! I am seriously so in love with this necklace because it is a TEETHING NECKLACE! Yup, so it is a Non-toxic, FDA approved necklace fashioned specifically for momma with teething babies who like to grab everything and put it in their mouth. It has a detachable snap clasp so if Aria were to say tug on the necklace real hard, it would just come off instead of choking me! TeeHee!
I was really taken with this idea because as a mom who it literally living this teething life right now, I 100% understand the struggle. I love to wear my jewelry and lately dainty necklaces, dangly earrings, or really any of my nice jewelry has been a dangerous attraction to Aria who only wants to yank at it and put it in her mouth.
When I got this teething necklace I immediately washed it up (hot soapy water) and put it on. Within 1 second of picking Aria up she had the thing in her mouth. I actually couldn’t get it away from her all afternoon! She loves it! Since then I have been able to wear my regular jewelry, and then when hold Aria I just put on the teething necklace and she is good to go! So brilliant!
