I am soooo excited to talk about this outfit today! It is by far my very favorite to wear throughout this pregnancy for so many reason, but first a little back story!
I hate that being pregnant means that you will gain weight…Weight was a struggle for me, and about three years ago I was at my worst. I was super unhealthy, I didn’t exercise, and I ate horribly. It was so bad that it was affecting my mental and emotional state. Depression followed and I was constantly unhappy.
Thanks to my upcoming wedding, I was finally motivated enough to try to get into shape. After some research of gyms in my area, I found a hot yoga studio nearby that had incredible aesthetic, and classes that sounded simple enough to not over whelm me. Long story short this place became my new second home. I LOVED the atmosphere, the classes, and the instructors and I began attending a class every single day. I changed my diet, and I even would do 4-6 miles on my elliptical at home if I ever took an off day.
Soon, I started losing all the unhealthy weight and felt amazing. My mood was so high, I had tons of energy, and my mind was sharper. After one year I had lost a total of 35 pounds and made it to a healthy weight. I have since kept up my routines and always stayed consistent with my new healthy eating habits and workout regime.
Pregnancy has been a struggle for me because not only am I gaining weight, but I am now gaining weight very quickly and my eating habits have slid more then a tad bit out of control. Food is all I think about right now! This should slow down soon, but in the meantime it has been hard for me to control myself. Exercising is something I still manage to get in everyday (Pregnancy workout routine to come in a later post), but it is inevitable when your pregnant that you WILL gain weight and I have started to feel it.
I started having back pain and trouble sleeping about a month ago, and walking a lot got strenuous on my lower stomach area. What was I going to do? I had to walk around holding my belly because I was so uncomfortable, and that had to stop! Plus it looked super funny!

Finally I was scrolling through my Instagram feed one day and there appeared an ad for these maternity support leggings. I clicked the link and checked it out immediately; after reading through the website and the reviews I asked my hubby to buy me a pair to try. The Blanqi Maternity Belly Support leggings were soon to be my new favorite bottoms that I will ever own in this pregnancy! My hubby surprised me and got the Belly Support Tank Top too, and the leggings and the tank top together are the ultimate duo!
I am not even slightly over exaggerating when I say this outfit has made my everyday pregnant life a dream! For the gym or just everyday wear the support is incredible, the material is super stretchy and soft and lightweight. It is breathable and easy to wear underneath other clothes. I also wear the tank top to bed, and it makes rolling over at night a non-issue!
For those of you who are pregnant, or know someone who is pregnant…do you or yourself or your friend a favor and buy these right now! They are the best thing for a baby bump, back pain, and even for holding in those ever growing thighs! I am literally in love and just can’t say enough! This is NOT a paid post.
