5 Things You Need To Stock Up On When You Have a Toddler

5 Things You Need To Stock Up On When You Have a Toddler

This post is in collaboration with Walmart®. However all opinions are my own.

One of things I did not know when I had children? That I would always have some sort of new bruise or strained muscle! Aria is a ball of energy, my little firecracker. She loves to sing, dance, run, laugh, and PLAY. All she wants to do these days is play, and I am loving every moment of it! If you follow me on Instagram then you see her in action everyday! She is also getting smarter by the minute, this morning she called me Lydia instead of mommy! Your 21 months old little girl! She should not know the actual name of her mother at that age should she?

Anywhoo, being smarter, she knows what she wants and needs, and has no problem asking for it. She is learning new tricks, messier, potty training, and always hungry or thirsty! All of this means that I need to be more prepared, and so today I am here to help any other new toddler moms out there with a list of things that are my top must haves to stock up on! Walmart® is always a go-to for our family. It is right down the street from our house so extremely convenient, but also always has the largest selection. This month Walmart is celebrating Parent’s Choice brand’s 20th anniversary, and I was really excited to get on board with them to share in the celebration. Parent’s Choice® is by far the most purchased brand in our home!

Below is a list of the top Parent’s Choice items I stock up now that Aria is a toddler, and a short description of why I love them and need them so much!

#1 Extra fitted sheets

Honestly whether you have a toddler, a newborn, a 10 month old, or a 4 year old…you can never have enough extra fitted sheets on hand! I switch out both Aria and Ella’s bedding at least 2 times a week! The Parent’s Choice fitted sheets are my favorite because they have a wide variety of color combinations and have the best quality at the best value.

#2 Snacks

I don’t know about your toddler, but instead if eating three full meals a day, Aria just snacks all day long. There are not enough snacks in this house at any one given time. I am always filling up my cart with more snacks, and these are some of my favorites because I can throw them in the diaper bag and always have yummy favorites on hand!

#3 Extra bottles

You may have been able to wean your little one off the bottle at this point, and in that case I recommend extra sippy cups. But Aria is still a bottle baby, and I can not figure out where they all disappear to? I am always in need of more bottles and you can get the Parent’s Choice bottles in a bunch of fun colors and in bulk for mere dollars..I mean like $3-$5 bundles!

#4 Extra wipes

Everyone has a preference when it comes to wipes, but I love these because they do not dry out my girls skin, and the quality is tough and I always use less than other brands. I am always needing extra wipes on hand because I use them to clean up practically everything. Aria is everywhere and loves to play outside and get dirty, extra wipes are my life saver for dirty hands, wiping down restaurant high chairs, wiping off public toilet seats before use, cleaning up spills in the car or at home, and oh yeah for changing diapers!

#5 Disposable bed mats

One day I will be an old lady in a nursing home and sleeping on these things every night. Ok, I hope not. But right now we have these piled up in our storage closet because potty training is a real nightmare, and there fore bed wetting is pretty much a nightly occurrence. Instead of having to change out the bedding every night or morning, I can use these disposable bed mats and save myself a ton of time and energy!
