It has been rainy and gloomy here for the past three days, but I am not complaining one bit!
We rarely get weather here in southern Nevada, so when we do I actually welcome it! For some reason ever since I can remember I always loved when it rained, the smell, the sound, and how refreshed the world seems afterward…I just love it!
I also love the overcast weather for taking pictures! It is literally the best time to get good shots, I am telling you perfect lighting!
OK. So it has been a little crazy over here lately and as much as I am trying to get ahead on my to-dos and be the ultimate of organized, I am continuing to fall short! I know, I know… it comes with the territory and being a mom of a newborn and (newly walking) toddler it is only natural to be a little bit hot mess express! But I really like to be on top of things and in control and I swear I can’t even string sentences together lately!
Oh well, thus is life and I know this too shall pass… In the meantime I will keep on keeping on and enjoy this cozy chenille sweater! You all have loved this sweater ever since I posted it on my Instagram feed, and since it has quickly become my favorite sweater this season, I thought I would share it here too.
Chenille is popular this year and I love it because it is so soft you could sleep in it! This particular style has a very exaggerated circle hem which is flattering for all figures and elongates the legs (yay for short girls!). I think the hood is fun and also great for cool rainy days like today! Available in 6 colors!
Also have to mention these sunglasses! I LOVE them! They were a birthday gift from my hubby and from the Quay X Jacklyn Hill collection! When the line first came out this style specifically stood out to me and I knew they would be at the top of my Bday wish list! I love the gold detailing on the top for a fun and edgy look that is different from anything I have seen before! They will be perfect to pair with different looks year round and very affordable!
