Mom’s Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide – for everyone on your list

Mom’s Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide – for everyone on your list

This time of year is busy for everyone and aside from decorating, baking/cooking, parties and events, school finals, social and sport activities, and having company in town or traveling…a Holiday shopping list only makes the season even more stressful! As a busy mom myself I am 100% with you on all the stress and exhaustion! The task of sitting down and making that list of people I want to get gifts for is always longer than I plan on, and it is even harder to decide what to get them and how much to spend! It can be so time consuming and expensive!

Well I went ahead and did all the work for you, and this year you can find all your holiday shopping answers right here listed below. I have broken up each gift guide section according to the person a mom needs to shop for, and I have listed save and splurge options too! There is a variety of fun gifts and practical gifts, and I also give a break down of how much is a reasonable amount to spend on a certain person. If you have anyone else you need to shop for and would like ideas, please comment below!

Babies (0-2yr)

These are my top choices for baby gifts. These are all items that I used everyday and would not want to go without!

Baby Bath Dam – This is an amazing product and from what I have found, many people do not know about it. The baby bath dam is a genius product that turns any regular sized bath tub into a mini tub for your baby. You can use it to block off a small part of your tub and create a mini size bath for your little one and avoid the danger of drowning, slipping, or crawling around! I also love it because I can sit on the other side of the dam in the dry part of the tub while I wash my babe up. See a full post HERE showing you how I used ours.

Muslin Burp Cloths – These are 100% organic cotton and VERY absorbent. I got so many cute burp cloths when I was having my babies and they were terrible…I never used them. One use and they were soaked and soiled and created a ton more laundry then was necessary. These muslin cloths do the work of five cute burp cloths and I’ll recommend these over and over again.

Essential Oils – I have been far more aware to the dangers of relying on the use of over the counter drugs, Tylenol, and easy fix medicines, since having children. There are natural ways to treat everyday discomforts like allergies, tummy aches, and over-tiredness, that is much gentler on babies. I use essential oils and essential oil blends for my girls that are safe and effective and I have been able to greatly reduce the amount of medicine I give to them.

Toddlers

Bows for Girls – My daughters wear bows every single day. Bows are a very big deal in the world we live in right now, and when it comes to style, handcrafted, made with heart, one of a kind bows are what I am all about. These make amazing stocking stuffers and special and memorable gifts that your favorite little girls will love to wear and will sit in your memory forever. These are my favorite bows and I love how they look in my girls’ hair! These are my top recommendation for the season!

Climbing Arch – Toddlers are always on the go, and if anyone knows that better right now, it is me! a climbing arch is SO fun for toddlers, a great way to learn balance in a safe environment, and bound to be their favorite Christmas gift this year.

Color Matching Egg Set – I love this “toy” because it is fun, as well as, a great learning tool. My daughter is almost two and she is very proud of telling me the color of anything and loves to pull things apart and put things back together, This color matching eggs set is a favorite toy and one I will pass on to future nieces and nephews in the family.

Kids

I will be the first to say that shopping for kids (ages 5-12) is HARD. Every year there are new trends and I am just not on top of it enough to know what the next cool thing is. What I do know is there are certain things that are fun for kids since as long as I can remember, and still pretty cool today.

Bubble Gum Machine – I mean… A candy machine you can keep in your room that you have to have money to get to is just plain fun. You can save up your coins and it is simply a cool thing to use! No one else will think of this gift!

Slinky – Simple yet satisfying! This will entertain kids for HOURS, it is the perfect thing to open and play with on Christmas morning, and there are so many things to do with it, it is truly entertaining in all its simplicity. (used simple twice because its amazing how easy of a favorite gift this is!)

Pogo Ball – Remember these? As classic as a jump rope and another one of those things that are forever fun and entertaining. Easy and excellent!

Teens/Young Adults

Teens, opposite of kids, are very easy to shop for. All they want is clothes and money. Therefore gift cards are the way to go. I like to grab a tin of popcorn and tape a gift card or two to the top! One and done!College Students

Spouse

Shopping for your significant other can sometimes be really hard. You are with them every day, you know everything about them, and if they really need something they probably already have it, or it is just a new pair of slippers or new underwear… How do you make their Christmas special? I will admit that I struggle with shopping for my husband every single year, but there is one thing that I always know will go over well…

Time – Whether it be watching the kids so your wife can take a long bath alone, or stroll the isles of Target, planning a get away for just the two of you, booking a massage for your husband, or simply dedicating one evening at home together with no electronics…Time is the best gift you can give because no one ever has enough!

I know that is mushy, but it is true!

Parents/In-Laws

Something handmade or Shop Small – This year, hand making ornaments, garlands, and holiday decor is a very popular thing. I have been enjoying making my own holiday decorations this year, and you can find all my tutorials saved to my highlights on my Instagram account HERE.

If you are not in the crafting mood, you can find all the best handmade goods this year by shopping HERE or HERE!

Hostess

Anthropologie – This is by far my favorite place to shop for hostess gifts, here you will find something that will be loved and treasured, and above all will say thanks for hosting!O
