The 25th Anniversary of Art and Science in A Bottle

KRIS WINE

Wine has always been a big part of my family’s life. As a young woman I remember having my first glass of wine with my mom and feeling so grown up. Wine has been studied extensively. Evidence suggests that moderate consumption may help people live longer, protect against certain cancers, improve mental health, and enhance heart health. Centuries ago, wine was used treat various health conditions. But aside from those facts, wine is a beautiful way to relax with friends and enjoy happy conversation and company.

Starting a book club has always been something on my bucket list, and so has staring a wine club. With both of those goals in mind I figured combining the two into a wine and book club would be the best of both worlds. I have always considered a good book and a great glass of wine to be the ideal way to spend an evening!

KRIS WINE

I have been exploring different types of wine lately and when I came across KRIS wine I knew right away it would be a favorite. My personal initial reaction to the Pinot Grigio is that it is a much smoother wine than others I have tried. KRIS wine is produced in a winery located in the Alpine town of Montagna, Italy. Blended with a Germanic sensibility and Italian artisan flare. A beautiful creation.

One of the unique attributes of KRIS wine their label and how it sets them apart. KRIS labels were designed by Italian artist Riccardo Schweizer, who was friends and contemporaries of Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró! Born of love, the labels were commissioned by the KRIS winemaker’s wife as a gift to him for their wedding anniversary. How cool is that?

KRIS WINE

KRIS wine is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year and found in several of you local grocery and department stores across the country. You can find KRIS wine in a Pinot Grigio (my personal favorite), and a Pinot Niore. In celebration of their anniversary this year, KRIS wine is offering customers an even better experience with their Pinot Grigio by tuning into their station on Pandora.
