Snack Preparation for Travel with Two under Two

It has been so fun giving Ella new foods to try, and the best part? it is making Aria more interested in trying new foods too! I have been using Beech-Nut® Naturals for my girls since day 1, and now that they are a bit older we have been stocking up on the Toddler Snacks! We are flying out to visit family in a few days and because snacks is pretty much the center of our life these days, I knew that I had to get to the store and grab as many Beech-Nut Naturals Toddler Snacks as I could.

The pouches are amazing for Ella, and incredibly she is really clean about using them. She has impressed me from day one with how well she can eat with pouches and straws. She is 10 months old! Aria couldn’t use a straw until a couple months ago! The pouches are great because she gets a full snack with all the nutrients she needs to keep bear crawling around the house, and I don’t have to stop and spoon feed her. Real ingredients, we mean – natural fruits & veggies. So no I-feed-my-kids-junk-food-because-it’s-easier mom guilt, I will always take that!

Aria loves the bars, specifically the banana fruity oat bars® and the naturals banana pumpkin fruit and veggies bars®. She thinks they are candy bars (shhhh…). All of the Beech-Nut® Naturals and Organics are Non-GMO Project Verified, and also always made with natural fruits and veggies and never anything artificial.

I decided to grab an assortment of the pouches and cereal snacks for Ella, and two boxes of bars for Aria and split some up into our checked bag and the rest into our carry-on bag for a quick and easily available snack while in flight. You can now bring foods through security and onto a plan, so it was nice to be able to have their food, snacks, and bottles prepared ahead of time.

Whenever we travel we always wait to get the rest of the girls’ meals once we have arrived to our destination. We chose an AirBNB location for this trip, and I am SO glad we did. Having a house where we can be comfortable, spread out, and have access to proper food storage is really convenient and makes for a more comfortable stay. We like to stock up on the Beech-nut yogurt melties® for Ella to snack on while I cook up breakfast. By the way, pro mom tip* always have little snacks for your babies to nibble on while you cook. It will save you from the whining and crying that you may often hear while you rush around the kitchen!

If you want to feel confident in a baby and toddler food brand that takes the preparation our of the everyday ongoing snacking without having to worry about unnatural and unhealthy ingredients I highly recommend Beech-Nut Naturals. I have shared about my experience with Beech-Nut Naturals before and you can read about that HERE. Learn more about Beech-Nut Naturals HERE!
