It is September 21st, which means Christmas is practically here. Seriously though, this year has been a whirlwind and I am shaking my head in disbelief of the girls’ birthdays and Christmas coming up so quickly. We got back from Disneyland a couple days ago (Huge Recap Coming on Monday!), we are decorating the house for Halloween, and making plans with friends for Thanksgiving. I look at Aria and Ella and can’t believe how big they have gotten and how much our daily lifestyle has changed. We are busy, we are growing and learning, there is something new and exciting everyday, and I want it to never end.

It is crazy for me to think about how just a few months ago my life revolved around tummy time, breast feeding, and 4-5 nap times a day. I had constant loads of laundry that consisted primarily of spit up clothes, swaddles, and tons of onesies. Now my days are filled with outings, imaginary and obstacle course play, dance parties, and snacks! There are stuffed animals everywhere, I constantly set on crayons and little cars, and tripping over my own children seriously uncountable numbers of times a day. The items you need from the day your baby is born and on is incredible. There is actually an entire room in our house that is completely taken over with new born items like swings, play gyms, bouncy chairs, and bassinets.

Anyway, my mind has been on all things holiday and what will be on my shopping list for the season. Walmart has been my go-to for baby and toddler shopping since day one and that is specifically because it is convenient and affordable. I always find the same things I have seen in other stores for less at Walmart, and usually more options too. I started putting a list of things I will be wrapping up for Birthday and Christmas gifts this year, and I wanted to share that with you incase your starting your shopping for the season too.

Walmart is putting on a Mini Black Friday event this month offering over 700 deals online and a handful of Rollbacks available in store. The pricing is actually either similar to the Holidays sales coming up or even better, so now is a great time to stock up! They are also giving away gift cards with purchases focusing on a different incentive each week of the month. You can check the gift card incentives here. Below are some of my top picks and a short description of why.

Baby MocsOnce Ella started cruising around in her walker and pulling herself up on furniture, it was an instant realization that she needed to protect her sweet little feet. These mocs are awesome, easy to get on, and perfect for a beginner walker. They are really cute too and are easy to throw and match with any outfit. I also love that they can look dressy or simple depending on the event we might be going to.

Toddler SilverwareAria eats like the growing toddler she is, and it is fun to help her learn how to use silverware instead of just using her hands. I honestly plan to have Ella use silverware earlier than I started Aria.

Booster Seat – From Aria to Ella and back to Aria, there are many stages of growth where the booster seat had made much more sense than a high chair for me. With the tray on it is perfect for feeding Ella, with the tray off it is exactly what I need to get Aria at the right height to sit at the table for crafts or making her own pizza!

Potty Training Seat – I actually have a potty chair that flushes for Aria, but I like the idea of a potty training seat that you can set on any normal size toilet to help her learn to use a toilet when we are not at home too.

Fold Up Toddler Swing – Swings are a hit for toddlers and this one is not only super affordable, but it actually folds up really small so it can be moved easily or taken on trips.

Baby Carrier – Ok I have talked about baby carriers before and I am truly not a baby wearing mama. I want to be, I try to be, but it just isn’t me. However, this Disney trip that we went on showed me how important it is to have a baby carrier on hand. I was able to throw Ella on my back while hiking around the park and still have free hands to help her and eat Disney treats! This one is very affordable for those every-so-often uses and really comfortable too.

3 Ways Baby Walker – A good baby walker is great to help a beginning walker get started and also a wonderful way to keep them somewhat confined while allowing them to explore in a safe way. This particular baby walker actually transforms 3 times making it an all-in-one walking assist while your baby grows.

Portable Sound Machine – I learned the hard way that a portable sound machine is a must have. My girls have a white noise on in their room every night, and having one while on a trip is something that makes a big difference if I want them to sleep well. I had to use an app on my phone while in the hotel in Disneyland. Not fun!

Extra Pacis – Simply a must-have if you have a paci baby. You can never have enough!

Aside from all the savings you can also stop in-store for Car Seat Trade In Event for $20 Walmart gift card), or an in-store Baby Retailtainment event with product demos, safety tips, and more.
