Ok. New York Fashion Week (Fall) 2018 begins today! For all you fashion lovers out there this is an exciting time of year. We can expect to see all the latest and greatest designers releasing their newest style lines. All the rage trends and all the newest fashion items will be showcased and broadcast all over the city. NYFW in September is my favorite Fashion Week because I love fall/winter styles best! I cannot wait to see all the boots that come out!
One day I would love to go to NYFW and be in the midst of it all, but as new mom and expecting my second daughter, it is just not realistic for me to attend. For those of us NOT attending this year, there are still tons of ways that you can celebrate NYFW 2018 from home, and I am here today to show you how!

One of the best ways to see a lot of different parts of Fashion Week without taking one subway ride is to swipe through all the different bloggers you follow and see what they are sharing!

Like Instagram stories you can watch fashion week from the eyes of those right there in the midst of it on Snap Chat. I love snap chat for following my favorite celebrities and seeing their views of the runway!
Vouge Runway
Here you can find runway looks almost instantly after the show ends! Vouge Runway is amazing at getting the styles up super fast for all us couch potatoes to see in real time. I will be honest and say that there is a lot of NYFW fashion that is just not my cup of tea. However there are a few big brands that I always love to see come out and those are Michael Kors, Coach, Oscar De La Renta, Derek Lam, Carolina Herrara, Brandon Maxwell, Alexander Wang, and Tory Burch!

Going to be in NY for Fashion week anyway? Here are a few tips…
It is not 100% exclusive and anyone can go to Fashion Week! There are private invite-only events, but there are also tons of events also open to the public.
IF YOU ARE A BLOGGER: If you are a blogger and plan to attend Fashion Week at any point in the future, take time to plan months ahead and if there are specific runway shows you want to attend simply find the contact and reach out! Download the Fashion GPS map! & You can also reach out to hotels and ask for them to host you in exchange for a featuring them on your social media or blog. Unless you are a heavy hitter, I would recommend reaching out to smaller boutique hotels that can use the extra exposure. Either way most hotels will offer a media discount.
You can pack whatever you want, but pack a lot! NYFW is all about fashion so having options is something you will absolutely want. Also leave room in your suitcase so you can bring back everything you buy when shopping!
